WP710 –WebSphere Portal V6.0 Administration - 1
Duration: 3 days
Purpose:

• The objective of this course is to explore the operational aspects of an IBM WebSphere Portal 6.0 installation.
• The course covers WebSphere Portal 6.0 for the Windows platform.
• Lab exercises are provided only for Windows, but the lecture material does cover differences between Windows and other platforms.
• Hands-on lab exercises are provided throughout the course.

Course prerequisites
To get the most out of this course, you should meet the following
prerequisites. Students who do not meet these prerequisites
might not be able to fully understand and use the materials
presented in the course.

• An understanding of basic Internet concepts
• Experience using a Web browser
• Basic operational skills for the Windows operating system

Prerequisites:

The prerequisites for this course include

• Intermediate administration skills using WebSphere Application Server version 6.0, acquired through experience and/or completion of IBM WebSphere Application Server V6 Administration(SW246 or WF381)
• Basic knowledge of portals and WebSphere Portal, acquired by completing IBM WebSphere Portal Version 6.0 Fundamentals (WP010)
